As many of you know, Nina and I are screenwriters. A “midrash” is an exploration and interpretation of Scripture through parable. This year, we created a midrash on the Exodus story in the form of a movie pitch. “Shnooks at Sinai” imagines the greatest moment in human history from the perspective of two regular guys in the back row. We aim to create the you-are-there feeling, even as we entertain and inspire.
