Offerings that became disqualified could not be brought on the altar, but rather had to be burned. The question is where? When Shabbos and Rosh Chodesh coincide, which mussaf (additional offerings of these special days) is brought first? What happens if we consecrate money or fruit for the use of the Temple today, when there is no Temple?
