Chapter 9, Mishna 9
Kares is death at the hands of the Heavenly Court. How do we know that this punishment and not some other applies to:
A tamei (ritually impure) priest who partakes of tahor (ritually pure) teruma (food tithed and consecrated for priests to eat)?
A tahor priest who partakes of tamei teruma?
A tamei priest who serves in the Holy Temple?
A priest who serves in the Holy Temple while his purification process is not complete?
A drunk priest who serves in the Holy Temple?
A priest who needs a haircut who serves in the Holy Temple?
What about a priest who is an Onein (acute mourner)?
What about a priest who is uncircumcised?
What about a priest who serves while seated?
