Rabbi Eliezer ben Hyrcanus is an inspiring story of desire to learn Torah in spite of great difficulties. He disagrees with the majority re the offerings of a nazir who becomes impure for the dead after the first of his concluding offerings are brought. He also disagrees with respect to a nazir and a High Priest walking down the road and encountering an unattended corpse. Both are prohibited to becme impure for the dead, both are nonetheless obligated in the case of an unattended corpse. So which of them should do the burying?
